education

In one of the class, we talked about the education systems.
I have learned a lot is this class. About our environment, life, ways of living, and many other things. I think education is most important thing in every culture i have seen so far. Without it we can't do much. We cannot get better job and life. When you have money automatically you have good life. Everything you need in life can be obtained by money. Mostly in other countries education has a lot of value. Where i lived in Pakistan there we are offered good education, but everything is expensive. Its really tough to get in to the college especially if your a Christians. That's why parents from these kind of countries want there children to go to other developed countries to get higher education. But the education system in Pakistan is also good if you could afford it. Even though its expensive. There are many teachers that got there education from US or UK are now in Pakistan teaching. We do get good education there. The rules are really tough. We get many options here, but in Pakistan we did not get much. We had to listen and obey our parents and teachers if we did not we got punished. Education for our parents is really important. They pick the major and which field the kid will choose. If i tell my friends who are American, they will think this is crazy. But it really happened and we are not allowed to change it. Since our family came to America there thinking have changed a bit, but not totally. Our school was really tough, we had inspection, the teachers use to look at our clothes, shoes, nails and hair to see if we were prepared well for school. We something was not right, we got punished. If we did not do our home work or did bad on the test or said something bad we got beating from our teachers and when the parents found out they also beat us. These rules were set to teach us manners and how to obey and education which is the most important thing. At that time I used to hate this systems, but now i look back and think that was the best time of my life. I have learned so much and it was worth it. My teachers and parents thought me well and i think we should get those systems here in America too.
