Taking back Sundays

Today I spoke with my parents and everyone was at home. I began to tell her about the book A Reasonable Life and the point Mate makes about taking back Sundays. She began to say how crazy true it is and even though we all sit around the TV watching football we are all together and even during the summer we usually barbeque. The importance of Sundays keeps us together. Unfortunately it’s the one day we are all together. The way he talks about taking back Sundays is I think an important aspect for not only family but us as a person in helping us grow to value more on family then materialistic needs.
