Moral values associated with economic powers.

This is an issue right now as we all speak. I work at a nursing home. There used to be a man that worked there all his life just until recently he found out from the corporate heads that his services there were no longer needed. How let me refrain from feeling sorry for him. This is something different where someone who has been notified that they basically no longer have a job. Their wife a week later had a heart attack or some kind of stroke. The holidays are around the corner and this man is jobless. This is where I address the issue of moral values. I'm sure everyone has a understanding or the definition of moral values.
Moral values-
Relating to, dealing with, or capable of making the distinction between right or wrong conduct -- Principles, standards habits with respect to right or
wrong in conduct. Webster's Dictionary.

I do not think that this man was treated justly or fairly. The company could have given him a month or two notice to let him know that they were downsizing on positions. And that the position was his.
People who have economic powers seem to have a invisible window of moral values. Not all companies are like this but it's all about money hungry-grubbing individuals. They are paid to do their job, and they all go home happy. These people/companies hide the mysteries about what is really happening behind the curtains. For example, when the american soldiers were all sent to iraq..Bush hid most of the dead bodies behind closed doors, but this is an example of presidential power. Economic power would be how they spend their money and how they are making their money. For example, the documentary about Enron is a great example.

The Enron scandal is something that people know about now since the documentary came out, but Jeffrey Skilling who had a lot of economic power did not have any type of moral values at all. He is what we call a money-hungry, grubbing person. He had poor financial reporting and was able to billions of dollars in debt from failed deals and projects. Well he hired executives to do all his dirty work.
Economic leaders need to know their moral boundaries on where they stand in each corporation.
